A groin or inguinal hernia happens when tissue, such as part of the intestine, pokes through (bulge) a weak spot in the abdominal muscles. They often happen along the inguinal canal, which carries the spermatic cord in men.  The bulge can be painful, especially when coughing, bending over or lifting a heavy object.

Inguinal hernia repair is a common surgical procedure.

Following the procedure, look no further than The Crotch Doctor for pain relief and anti-inflammation.  Apply The Crotch Doctor on the area for 10 to 20 minutes at a time. Try to do this every 1 to 2 hours for at least 1 week or until the swelling goes down.
